Record Breaking Paddle Boarder Stops in North Myrtle Beach

Record breaking paddle boarder is making a stop in North Myrtle Beach. Tom Jones will be gracing North Myrtle Beach with his present this July 10th for a fundraiser at Wyndham Towers on the Grove!!! For all of you who is unaware of Tom Jones, let us a take minute to inform you of who exactly he is. Tom is Southern California’s two-time professional Muay Thai World Champion and world-record ultra-endurance athlete paddle boarder. When he stops in Myrtle Beach he will not be taking US 501 into town, but he will be riding in on the waves of the Atlantic. This stop is going to be during his attempt to break his own world record of paddle boarding 1250 miles by paddling 1500 all the way from Florida to New York!!!! His main mission is to raise public awareness about the greatest risks to human health, the environment and the world’s oceans from improper and excessive use of plastic. His goal is to raise $500,000 to support the mission of plastic free ocean. He is asking 20,000 people to make a small donation of $25 dollars to the cause. The event will take place on July 10, 2010 beginning at 2:30 p.m. for those who wish to attend!
